Classic Game Room Reviews BOSCONIAN arcade video game by Bally Midway and Namco released in 1981. Bosconian is a top down free roam style space ship shooter that is rare to find in its original arcade videogame cabinet form because many Bosconian arcade games were turned into Galaga machines because they run on similar hardware and Galaga was more popular. Gameplay is fast and frantic as you blow up enemy space ship based and wipe out waves of space ships. Fans of top down shooters like Thunder Force 2 should hunt down some Bosconian! This CGR review of Bosconian has Bosconian arcade machine gameplay showing the Bosconian cabinet, videogame machine and game play at PAPA world headquarters.

Classic Game Room HD reviews BIOSHOCK 2 for Xbox 360, also for Playstation 3 PS3. Return to Rapture as a Big Daddy and tear the place apart with a drill, minigun and new Plasmids! Fans of the original will enjoy this one because it’s more of the same but more of the same is fine by me as long as it’s Bioshock. While CGR has a few gripes and complaints, I dig this game like a ditch and welcome any adventure in Rapture. This CGR review of Bioshock 2 has gameplay from Bioshock 2 for Xbox 360 (and PS3 is similar) showing Bioshock 2 game play during the reviewing process of the review of Bioshock 2 as it is Reviewed.

This CGR Review of Demon’s Souls has gameplay from Demon’s Souls showing PS3 game play of Demon’s Sould being played on Playstation 3. Published by Atus, Demon’s Souls is immersive, complex and amazingly detailed. Demons Souls gameplay is traditional 3D brawling, hacking and slashing and rolling style game play with some awesome weapons and magic.
King Allant the XII, the last king of Boletaria, searched tirelessly to expand his might. The Nexus, a great ice shrine nestled in the mountains, bestowed the power of the souls onto him, bringing prosperity to his kingdom. Still unsated, he returned again to the Nexus, where he foolishly awakened the Old One from its eternal slumber. This long forgotten evil, now wrought upon Boletaria, plunged the realm into darkness and fog. A mighty demon horde poured into the kingdom, devouring the souls of men.
Champions from other realms learned of Boletaria’s fate and sought to deliver the kingdom from evil; none would return from the cursed land. Called upon by a mysterious maiden in black, you go forth, the last hope for humanity in a place lost to demons and darkness…

Classic Game Room Reviews TRON EVOLUTION for Xbox 360 (also available for Playstation 3 PS3 and PC), the videogame tie-in with Tron Legacy the 2010 movie. Based in the Tron universe seen in Tron Legacy, Tron Evolution the video game has players battling enemies, riding light cycles and performing acrobatic tricks throughout the grid. Tron Evolution is from Disney Interactive Studios and Propeganda Games and has excellent production values, graphics and sound design yet suffers from mediocre gameplay and some sloppy controls. Multiplayer may be better than the single player campaign as it successfully combines all of the cool Tron style gameplay elements like Frisbee death combat and light cycles. Play as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Zurg and the crew from the Toy Story movies in this E 10+ rated game aimed at a younger audience. Rich with solid visuals and easy to pick-up-and-play controls, Toy Story 3 does everything right except provide a challenge. Players who enjoy spending time in a game where they collect stars, items, trophies or achievement points and toys will dig the game, but those looking for a real gameplay experience should look elsewhere. It is ideal for kids who love the movies because Toy Story 3 the video game looks just like the movie! The production value is impeccable and Disney Interactive Studios, Pixar and Avalanche Software have done an excellent job bringing Toy Story to life in an interactive fashion. The toy box mode is a nice addition to the game as well for fans of collecting and building.

This Prototype Review has gameplay video from Prototype video game showing game play in HD as CGR wreaks havoc in a well rendered New York City. Drive tanks down Wall Street, now that’s payback for your 401k! Alex Mercer is the prototype created by a horrible government conspiracy. Seek revenge against your creators and pretty much whatever or whoever gets in your way. Consume other people and morph into their form, throw taxis at people and jump off the Empire State Building. Prototype is darned fun and a violent, explody, bangy, crashy joy to play. It runs in High Definition and the Xbox 360 version has achievement points for Prototype. Earn weapon and jump upgrades (and more) and have a great time with side missions, challenges and other chaos that you create in Prototype!
